Sant'Ivo alla Sapienza. This baroque church (1642-1660) is one of the most remarkable creations from Francesco Borromini in Rome. Its dramatic, twitched spiral-shaped lantern dominates the courtyard of the Palazzo della Sapienza, seat of the old university of Rome from the middle ages until 1935. The building now houses the National Archives.
