Clark's Nutcracker

Clark's nutcrackers (named after the famous explorer of the West) belong to the crow family. They live in open coniferous forests, mainly feeding on pine seeds, which they bury in fall to re-find them in winter.
Photographed near Estes Park, Colorado.
