South portal, ca. 1160

Christ in Majesty, surrounded by the symbols of the four Evangelists (tympanum) and the twelve Apostles (lintel), the 24 elders of the Apocalypse (archivolts). Ancient Testament figures on the jambs.
The figure of Christ on the trumeay dates from 1240-1250.
While prepared for another location in the 12th century, these sculptures were only given their present location in the 13th century.
