A key figure in Austrian and European history. And a tragic one at that. His name is related to much of what we see in Vienna today. He is also the husband of Sisi, the Habsburg empire fell apart during his long 67-year reign and to make things complete he plunged Austria in the First World War, which sealed the end of his dynasty and the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.
