Provence Camargue Marc Haegeman

One of the old ochre quarries near Roussillon in the Luberon. The quarries were mined from the end of the 18th century until 1930 (the pigments were used in the textile industry), but have now become one of the great tourist attractions in the Provence. Roussillon is listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France.
